A Dell announced two new devices in its gamer category, Alienware, are on the way. The Desktop Gamer Alienware Aurora R16 will be launched in Brazil in 2025 and will be manufactured in the city of Hortolândia, in São Paulo. The monitor QD-OLED Alienware AW3225QF will have its delivery time in the country reduced, facilitating access to this technology for Brazilian consumers. Check out more details about each one!
Alienware Aurora R16
The new model — successor to the Alienware Aurora R15 –, which will be manufactured in the country, has a unique design in the local market and improvements in the refrigeration system, in addition to operating more quietly. The chassis is 40% smaller compared to the previous version, while maintaining the high-level performance characteristic of the line Alienware.
O Dawn R16 is about 20% quieter than the previous model available in Brazil. Changes in the internal design allow for more efficient cooling, resulting in a up to 10% reduction in processor temperature e 6% on the video card. Despite the reduction in chassis size, the interior space remains the same, with a capacity of 25,2 liters.
Information about the processor, video card options and RAM for this model has not yet been released by Dell as of the time of writing, but we will update this information as soon as it becomes available. The machine stands out for the high performance of its components and, in all versions, will feature a translucent side panel which allows you to view the internal hardware. On this same side, there is a customizable lighting area, called stadium loop, which enhances the design and structure of the desktop.
The cooling system of the new Aurora includes four 120mm fans e liquid cooling with 240mm radiator. To support the demand for its advanced components, the model will be equipped with a 80 Plus Platinum power supply, ensuring efficiency and stability during intense use.
Remembering that the new Alienware Aurora R16 gaming PC is not yet available for purchase in Brazil, but it is expected to be launched — and manufactured — in the country in 2025, according to the brand.
Renewing our offering of locally manufactured gaming desktops in Brazil is a recognition of the brand's fans and also of the growth and good prospects in this segment. With the new model, we will offer an exceptional level of performance that, once again, raises the bar for the segment in the country, in a more compact, quieter and, therefore, more versatile product.
