Design

Os Pixel Buds Pro 2 are 24% lighter and 27% smaller than Pixel Buds Pro first generation. Its new design was created after developers scanned and analyzed 45 million different ear shapes, promising to be the most comfortable headphones in the category. In the box, there are 4 different tips, so it really fits in any ear.

There are 4 colors available, Porcelain, Hazel, Wintergreen e Peony. A visible change here is that the colors are on the entire body of the phone and not just on the tips, as in the previous model. The design change allowed them to create a function where you rotate the earphone so that it fits your ears. Without any secrets, you put them in your ear and turn it, making it lock in your ear.

The headphone case remains the same, except for a small change at the bottom. Next to the door USB-C, it now has a speaker, which works together with the new find my device, an improved feature so you never lose your headphones again.

pixel watch 3

Design

The new Google smartwatch It arrives with a very welcome novelty, which is its size. For the first time, it is available in two sizes, in 41mm or 44mm. This allows more people to use the device, as it is more accessible for those with larger wrists. It also has a slightly thinner and smaller frame, making it look more beautiful.

The edges of the watch have been reduced by 16%, making more use of the body, 10% for the larger version and an incredible 40% for the smaller model. The design features a recycled aluminum finish and offers options to choose between matte or glossy, as well as a variety of bracelets. All this, with protection IP68 against water and dust.

This new version brought two sizes, namely the 41 mm and that of 45 mm. The larger model promises 30% more battery life than the pixel watch 2, and can reach 24 hours of use with the mode always on display, or up to 36 hours in mode battery saving.

The 41 mm comes with a battery 307 mAh and it takes about 1 hour to reach 100%. A curious fact is that after just 24 minutes, it already has 50% battery life. The model of 45 mm has a little more battery, naturally, with 420 mAh. Recharging time increases by around 20 minutes, fully charging in 80 minutes. For the 50%, the Google points out that it will take 28 minutes. Both come with a USB-C cable in the box for charging.

Features and AI

The most interesting feature presented for Google's new smartwatch was the so-called Loss of Pulse detection. This feature can detect when the user's pulse is acting out of the norm and, using this information, calls emergency services to issue an alert. It's basically a cardiac arrest tracker and takes about 15 seconds to emit the signal if it notices anything strange.

This improvement in the heart rate sensor is also customized to work better when you are in the middle of races. THE Daily Readiness is also present here and basically gathers relevant information from your body to tell you when you should exercise or when it's time to rest.

O pixel watch 3 now support Bluetooth LE audio, that is, when connecting other devices such as headphones to it, battery usage will be minimal. This is the first smartwatch to offer this technology.

It also offers the option to show and control the camera of the Google Pixel, as well as devices Nest, directly from the watch, in addition to allowing you to use the Google Maps offline.

With the help of Gemini, the assistant IA from Google, you can create personalized workouts on the watch, instead of just relying on pre-defined workouts on the device. And for those times when you are looking for a better place to speak, you can have the assistant answer for you with the functionality Hold a minute.
