A HUAWEI Band 9, new smartband from HUAWEI, was announced in Brazil today (06/05) with a broader proposal, focused on mobility and fun, and new models with a sophisticated appearance. HUAWEI's new smart bracelet is comfortable and lightweight, ideal for heavy users with its incredible 2-week battery life.
In addition, the update to the sleep monitoring algorithm brings new functionality for complete reports and improvement tips to improve the user's sleep quality. And all this for R$299, the promotional launch price.
Premium design
Among the color and design options, two stand out because they are considered more minimalist and elegant, perfect for people with classic styles who don't give up accessories that match their lifestyles: Stellar Black and Sand White.
The Sand White version has a golden frame on the display made with a laser, giving the piece a luxurious appearance. The black strap was inspired by classic piano keys, resulting in a shiny smartband with a sophisticated finish.
In previous models, such as the Band 8, the black finish was matte and simple, without the 10-layer coating that gave HUAWEI's new smartband the impression of exclusivity of a premium product.
In line with the irreverent and fun proposal, there will also be models that fit more agitated and younger styles: Light Pink, Lemon yellow e Electric Blue, which have a matte surface with a metallic paint finish for a fine and comfortable touch.
Improvements to sleep monitoring
It has already been proven that sleep is extremely important for our health and the proper functioning of our body, which is why having a smartband for sleep monitoring can positively influence sleep performance.
A HUAWEI Band 9 has algorithm TruSleep 4.0 updated so as not to lose any details of the user's night. Now, in addition to analyzing how many times the user got up during the night and REM sleep level, the algorithm also provides complete reports and personalized tips to improve the quality of the night, in addition to Sleep mode, which provides white noise, landscape sounds and relaxing music to contribute to pre-sleep relaxation.
The function is linked to the TruSeen 5.5, a health algorithm that monitors essential metrics, such as heart rate, SpO2, stress levels and sleep analysis itself.
With the combined features, the new HUAWEI smartband becomes an excellent ally for physical practices. And for those who need to be aware of heart rate fluctuations during the day, the Band 9 The update offers heart rate analysis in less than 20 seconds, a time considered slow on older HUAWEI Band models.
Enhanced sports features
To measure physical activities, the HUAWEI has inserted more than 100 types of sports into its system, such as taekwondo, ping pong, dancing, parachuting, and swimming.
Each modality is identified by the algorithm, which, after being confirmed by the user, begins synchronization with the activity. Health reports are also present in physical activities, showing heart rate during exercise, calories burned and, depending on the activity, also showing the number of movements made. The data analyzed is based on scientific evidence, including indicators such as running capacity index, VO₂Max, heart rate recovery and interval time.
With Band 9, you will have customizable goals, pre-defined exercise programs and a complete history of the user's progress, as well as reminders and a diary to help achieve the goals defined in the activity rings.
Too many features
HUAWEI's proposal is to deliver a complete smartband at an affordable price, so the functions don't stop there.
The HUAWEI Band 9 has a feature to women's health, which monitors menstrual cycles, fertile window and has complete reminders for the hormonal calendar. It is also possible to manage stress spikes with the HUAWEI TruRelax™, which offers calming breathing exercises to ease emotional spikes.
And that's not all, there is also family monitoring for members who have smart bracelets. It is possible to create groups with constant analysis of heart rate, SpO2 and sleep quality so that the entire family is aware of the other members.
The smart light sensor is also a major highlight of the device's special features. HUAWEI Band 9, which adapts as ambient light increases or decreases, providing a good view regardless of the lighting condition.
HUAWEI has not missed any function, as in addition to the highlights we mentioned, the new smartband also has: flashlight, remote camera, music control, alarm clock, and ultra compatibility with iOS and Android operating systems.
Long battery life
The long-lasting 180 mAh battery makes the new HUAWEI smart bracelet a standout product on the market. The forecast for moderate use is 14 days of safe battery life, plus 1 additional day in economy mode. For heavy users, the battery can last up to 9 days of continuous use.
It is one of the longest durations on smartbands on the market, and also one of the best charging rates: 45 minutes of charging makes the battery full for prolonged use, and if you are in a hurry, HUAWEI guarantees that 5 minutes of charging can last for up to 2 days.
It is a bracelet made to last, in every aspect. In addition to the super battery, it also has 50m water resistance, and has passed 8 extreme durability tests, including high heat and humidity and drop tests.
Price and availability
The new HUAWEI smart bracelet will go on sale on May 08th for a promotional price of R$05 until May 299,00th. After the date, the value will be updated to R$26. Initially, only the Light Pink and Stellar Black models will be sold, the other colors are expected to be available in July this year.
