According to the patent, the roll-up screen it would function as an extension of the traditional notebook screen, stretching to the right and left, whenever necessary. It would work automatically, activating when necessary, according to the content or function used by the user. In the example in the image, the screen was activated on the right side to mirror a Galaxy cell phone on it.

The patent also indicates that this notebook would be a 2-in-1 type, which can also be used as a tablet, simply by turning the screen downwards. You can also see a magnetic pen on the lid. For now, this is being called internationally Samsung rollable notebook (Samsung rollable notebook, in free translation).

The documentation reveals more information about day-to-day use: the notebook supports the NFC standard, for quick connection with the smartphone. And cell phone applications will also run directly on the new notebook, so you don't have to look at the smaller screen and stay focused.

Using sensors, the notebook with a roll-up screen will be able to adapt the size of the display according to the position in which it is being used.
