The models, despite being aimed at the entry-level category, are resistant to water splashes and sealed to prevent the entry of dust grains through IP54 certification.

In order to offer two connectivity options, Samsung decided to put two different processors in the new smartphones launched today. Moving on to the Galaxy A16 5G, Samsung opted for the Exynos 1330 processor manufactured in-house with five-nanometer architecture. This chipset has a maximum clock speed of 2,4 GHz. Interestingly, a version of the Exynos 1330 is present in the Galaxy A14 5G, but there is the version with seven-nanometer architecture.

Battery and charging

The smartphone's battery has a capacity of 5.000 mAh, which Samsung classifies as "sufficient" for an entire day. The company sends a USB-C cable in the box and a 15W power source, which is the maximum capacity for wired charging.
