More than 100 cities in RS are hit by heavy rain

Measures adopted by operators include:

  • TIM: granting a bonus of 10 GB of internet for prepaid and control plan customers;
  • Sure: offering a 5 GB bonus for Prezão customers (valid for 7 days), Claro Controle and Claro Flex (valid for 30 days);
  • I live: providing a 10 GB allowance for prepaid customers in the region (valid for 5 days).

In addition, a free internet franchise is being made available through the open network. This allows residents of areas affected by heavy rain and flooding to connect to the antennas of all operators, even in regions where their operator does not normally operate. This open network not only facilitates access to the internet, but also allows the use of emergency services, such as calls for help, and receiving alerts via SMS da Civil defense of State.
