CES 2025 is in full swing and Lenovo is one of the companies that has been showcasing the most innovations that will be launched throughout the new year. Regarding business notebooks, the highlight is the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable, aimed at those who want an even larger screen without leaving aside the portability of a notebook. See the first details of the participation of Lenovo at the world's largest technology fair.

Starting with the display, this notebook with an expandable screen uses an OLED display with a mechanism that allows it to go from having a 14″ screen to having a 16,7″ screen, using a button or gesture in front of the camera. This same screen has a peak brightness of 400 nits and a refresh rate of 120Hz.
The model is 100% DCI-P3 certified for viewing colors in more vivid tones and, most interestingly, its screen has an ambient light sensor. The webcam takes 5MP photos and there is a physical door to maintain privacy.

This second 16-inch screen can be used to run another app or expand the view of the app you're viewing on the smaller screen.
At Lenovo, we are committed to empowering professionals with innovative solutions that redefine productivity and creativity. With devices like the ThinkPad X9 Aura Editions and ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable, we are delivering cutting-edge AI capabilities, elegant designs, and unmatched performance for today’s hybrid workforce.

The model will be launched in a shade of gray, which is called Lunar Gray. Without leaving aside the portability of a notebook, Lenovo mentions that the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable weighs only 1,69 kg, with a thickness of only 19,9 millimeters.

The keyboard follows the ABNT standard and there is a Forcepad key in the center for one-finger arrow navigation. The device also has a fingerprint reader on the power button, which also serves as a security layer when entering passwords and when accessing the system. And these are the ports:
- 2x Thunderbolt 4 (USB-C)
- One 3,5mm headphone jack type P2
Processor

Following Lenovo's rule of putting the most current processors in its new notebooks, the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable has the Intel Core Ultra processor, aimed at intermediate activities and clock speeds of up to 5,0 GHz. The model also runs Windows 11 as soon as it is taken out of the box, also making it a notebook that meets the standards of Copilot + PC program from Microsoft.
It is worth remembering that these processors have a dedicated NPU, which should be an interesting option for those looking for a device focused on artificial intelligence activities. The video card is integrated, being a intel arc, also updated for rendering without requiring high power expenditure.
At the launch event, Intel highlighted that its Lunar Lake generation can deliver a battery life of up to 21 hours, so it's worth waiting for the reviews to find out how the models will perform in practice.
Due to its processor, the notebook comes with an antenna with support for Wi-Fi 7 ready to connect with the new standard as soon as it becomes more popular. The notebook also has a Bluetooth 5.4 antenna for greater range with wireless devices.
Memory and storage

The notebook, which has a larger screen, will have internal storage of up to 1 TB via PCIe Gen4 SSD. And there was no saving on RAM: Lenovo added 32 GB of LPDDR5x, which makes the notebook ready to run heavier applications at the same time.
AI resources

Due to meeting program standards Copilot+PC, the notebook combines advanced AI with features like Lenovo AI Now to boost productivity and creativity.
O Lenovo AI Now acts as an intelligent assistant, simplifying workflows and offering personalized suggestions, while Copilot+ offers generative AI for tasks like content creation and data processing, uniting local and cloud-based intelligence for maximum efficiency.
The new notebook can also be used to create realistic images through the functionality Cocreator from Paint, using drafts made by users. Watch this example to understand:
This is one of the great examples of the use of the NPU in Intel Core Ultra processors, but the same chip dedicated to AI activities will be able to blur backgrounds in videos and video calls, with the same happening with photos.
