Good news for users Mac: the latest version of the operating system for computers Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),: macOS Sonoma, is now available for download. The new update comes with a series of new features that promise to make the experience of using the Cupertino company's operating system even better, check it out:
What's new from Sonoma
In relation to macOS is coming, the previous version of the company's operating system, the Sonoma features functions and improvements that bring its usability closer to what is seen in the iOS and iPadOS, whether through customizable widgets — which can now be allocated to any place on the work desk — or the compatibility between resource and information platforms previously only available on the company's cell phones.
Furthermore, all Macs compatible with the update now have access to Game Mode. All games that are available for the operating system work with this new mode that prioritizes access to CPU and GPU resources for processing, while keeping other applications that run in the background out of focus. As a result, there will be an increase in the frame rate in games and better overall performance regardless of how much that software demands from the computer's hardware.
The new feature also presents an improvement for those who like to use AirPods, as when active, there will be a significant reduction in audio latency, in addition to doubling the Bluetooth sampling rate when using Xbox and PlayStation controls, delivering a much more responsive experience.
Additionally, the official macOS browser, the Safari, also received improvements. Now web apps work on your computer screen as native applications with notification support, with the possibility of pinning them to your dock. Furthermore, there will be greater support for different user profiles using the computer, with different history, favorites and much more for each of them – in addition to, of course, separate credentials.
