With it, you can share the cost of digital services with other people, paying only a fraction of the total cost, making access to this content much more accessible. So, are you interested? We tell you everything about this platform in this post.

What is Kotas and how does it work?

Created in 2017, the kotas is a subscription management platform that allows you to share your plans and monthly fees with others. There, you can join family groups of other registered users and search for a subscription that interests you. The signature of the YouTube Premium, for example, costs R$41,90, and when joining a group through Kotas, you can pay just R$10,48.
Furthermore, if you prefer, you can create your own group with a subscription you already have and want to share. For example, if you have a subscription to Spotify Premium, you can create a group and invite other people to join, dividing the total cost among all group members.
Why did Netflix, Max, Apple TV and other services leave Kotas?

In early 2024, Kotas announced via email that it would be canceling certain groups due to commercial issues. These groups included major streaming services like Netflix, Max, Apple TV and many others. One of the reasons that may have led to the end of support for these services on the platform is the end of sharing profiles and passwords in these streams, which are requiring account owners to pay for additional users. However, despite the cancellation, users were not harmed, reinforcing the platform's commitment to a safe and structured environment.

I need to know more about the service: legalization and availability. Even if it's legal, I won't pay for the service and wait in line to receive it.
I try to make myself a better offer. thanks
First I have to pay and then I'll know if there's availability, if I don't have to wait in line that's it.
Oi
