O EKSA E900 PRO Upgraded represents a new addition to the gaming headset market, launched by EX for those looking for new options when researching. This product promises to offer quality construction and a good sound experience, highlighting powerful audio and sound surround 7.1.
However, are these promises fulfilled in practice? Therefore, we carried out an in-depth analysis of the phone, after several days of use. So, check out our review below.
design and comfort
When analyzing the design of the EKSA E900 Pro Upgraded, it can be seen that it follows the common aesthetic standard in the segment of gamer headset. The structure is attractive, maintaining the characteristic oval shape to accommodate around the ears, a flexible arch and details in the painting that refer to the gaming universe.
It is worth noting that the model we received for testing has predominant yellow and black colors, which I found very beautiful. However, for those looking for more conventional options, perhaps to match other parts of the computer, it is also available in white and black.
The construction of the headset includes a top band finished in synthetic leather, adorned with the company's logo. EX in bas-relief. The inside of the band is well padded, providing comfort during use. The ends of the headband have a plastic cap marked 'L' and 'R' to guide the user on where to place their ears.
In this version, however, the markings are more timid, different from how they were in the previous version of the EKSA E900 Pro, where the detail really caught the eye. Furthermore, the ear cups are connected to the headband using an inverted Y-shaped metal piece, offering some flexibility of movement for adjustment.
The earphone cushions are covered in synthetic leather and are quite soft, perhaps too soft. When the headset was taken out of the box, the bottom of the pads were compressed, and even after prolonged use, this compression remained slightly. This is due to the pads touching each other when the headset is not in use.
The right side of the phone is much cleaner, as it does not have any inputs or buttons. All these options are concentrated on the left side, where we can connect the wires, microphone and also control the volume. An interesting detail of the EXA E900 Pro is that it does not have fixed cables, allowing replacement in case of problems, a legal approach, as it will not be necessary to change headphones when there are problems.
Furthermore, a distinctive visual aspect is the symbol of EX on the ear shells, illuminated in a bluish light. This detail does not follow the standard RGB, remaining in that specific tone or being able to be turned off with a button, offering a more subtle aesthetic option for users.
Sound power
When evaluating the EXA E900 Pro, one aspect that draws attention is its sound power. For those who prefer to completely immerse themselves in music, turning the volume up to maximum, this headset seems like an interesting option, especially considering its more affordable cost.
I confess that it took me a while to realize this feature. Awareness of the power of EXA E900 Pro came at an unexpected moment: I needed to get away from the computer and left a playlist do Spotify playing. Upon returning, even from a certain distance, the clarity of the sound surprised me. It sounded like I'd left an external speaker on – not that loud, sure, but remarkably powerful.
However, this sonic power has its two sides. Although it pleases fans of high volume, I noticed that prolonged use at this level can be uncomfortable and even cause a painful sensation in the ears. Yes, it is possible to adjust the volume to a lower level and avoid this problem, but sometimes you don't even realize how loud it is until you feel a bit uncomfortable. Therefore, when using it, it is important to pay attention to this, so that your prolonged experience is not harmed.
Sound quality
When evaluating the sound quality of the EKSA E900 Pro Upgraded, I found that it corresponds to what can be expected within its price range. O headset It features a vibrant and energetic sound signature, especially in the default setting. The mids are clear, the highs are well controlled, and although there is a bass presence, it is not overly prominent.
More trained and attentive ears can even distinguish instruments more easily and even at high volumes, distortion is minimal, but it is possible to feel a vibration.
O EXA E900 Pro proved to be a little inconsistent, especially when it comes to sound surround 7.1, which only works properly on the PC through the connection USB. At times, the sound was adequate, at others, somewhat confusing. It didn't make much of a difference for my use, so it's cool to have this technology available, but I didn't see that much of a difference.
However, after taking the time to adjust the settings in the headset app, I noticed a significant improvement in sound quality, especially after configuring the room size and speaker position. It is important to mention that these adjustments are not available when using the 3,5mm audio cable on consoles or mobile devices, somewhat limiting the experience on these platforms.
Microphone
O EKSA E900 Pro Upgraded, following the pattern of gaming headsets, comes equipped with a microphone. During my online gaming sessions, my friends reported that they could hear me well as long as I kept the microphone close to my mouth. Although the quality of the microphone is adequate for basic communication and simple recordings, it is important to note that it does not stand out extraordinarily in performance.
the microphone of EKSA-E900 It is removable and adjustable, which offers flexibility in use. You can position the microphone closer to your mouth for clearer audio pickup or even remove it completely, transforming the headset into a pair of regular headphones. A foam covering on the tip helps filter breathing noises and other airborne sounds.
Another interesting aspect is that the microphone has noise cancellation functionality. It is effective at filtering out background noises like fans and air conditioners. Thanks to its directionality, most of these noises are naturally avoided, without making the voice robotic or otherwise sounding unnatural.
However, for those looking for superior recording quality, an external microphone is still the best choice. The microphone EKSA E900 Pro Upgraded It does its job for everyday communications and gaming, but for more advanced purposes, dedicated equipment is recommended.
Adjustable
One feature I appreciated in EKSA E900 Pro Upgraded was its ability to be completely detachable. This offers the flexibility to choose between different cables to meet specific needs, as well as providing connection options via 3.5mm or USB.
In my case, the versatility of the connections was particularly useful due to a faulty headphone jack on my computer and another already occupied. I chose to connect USB, which proved to be practical and efficient. I didn't notice any big differences in sound quality between the connections. USB and 3.5mm, but it is worth mentioning that the second option does not support sound settings Surround 7.1.
Another positive point is the microphone: like the other cables, it is also detachable. This is convenient if you already have an external audio capture device and prefer not to have your headset's microphone conflict with your computer's default one. It's also useful if you just don't want anything obstructing your view while you're gaming.
Furthermore, the EKSA E900 Pro Upgraded stands out for its versatility, being compatible with different platforms such as PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switchhe cell phones, although the computer offers the best user experience.
Its wired connection makes it easy to use on different devices, just connect the cables to start using. Although the option Bluetooth could increase its versatility, I understand that this would imply a higher production cost, deviating from the main objective of the EKSA E900 Pro Upgraded: offering a good balance between cost and benefit for players looking for quality without a large investment.

Conclusion
In conclusion, the EKSA E900 Pro Upgraded is an gamer headset cheap that manages to combine aesthetics and functionality in a balanced way. The attractive design, with yellow and black colors, offers a different look that many users may like. In addition, its disassembly capacity and connection options via 3.5mm or USB add a level of practicality and versatility to the device, making it suitable for a variety of usage situations and preferences.
Despite its positive points, the EKSA E900 Pro Upgraded also presents some limitations. The power of the audio, for example, although it can be an attraction for those who like high volumes, it also has the chance of leaking and being heard by others around, something that can be inconvenient in shared environments. However, this is something that can be managed by adjusting the volume, allowing the user to find the ideal balance between immersion and privacy.
Finally, it is important to highlight that, while the EKSA E900 Pro Upgraded offers good sound quality and design for its price range, it is not without small flaws, such as the inconsistency in the 7.1 surround sound experience and the need for an external microphone for high-quality recordings. Despite these points, the overall experience with the headset is positive, especially for those looking for a device that balances cost and benefit without compromising quality too much.
