Review: Galaxy A53 5G brings good cameras and incredible battery life

But that was something I didn't dare to test during the reviews, obviously.

Hardware and performance

The highs are more strident than the mids and lows, which seem to be harmed in this new model. However, you can try to improve the sound balance with the native equalizer or use the Dolby Atmos. Despite this, you will have no problems if you are not a demanding user or use the smartphone just to watch some movies and series.

The sound setup is, once again, very similar to its predecessor. O A52, however, it has less distorted sounds when the volume is at a higher level, unlike what happens in the A53 5G.

Battery

O Galaxy A53 5G has a 5.000 mAh battery, which provides excellent autonomy in the tests performed by me. I was easily able to get over a day of battery life even with the screen refresh rate set to 120 Hz. After a full day of moderate use, I still had more than 50% battery left the next morning.

Battery life varies, however, depending on usage. For context, I ran two different tests. In the first, I used the A53 5G for a 13 minute call, spent half an hour taking pictures, played the racing game Asphalt 9 for 10 minutes and left the screen at full brightness for 15 minutes outdoors. This in addition to using the phone to check for notifications, e-mail, social networks and other apps throughout the day.

In the second test, I left the device playing a movie in the Netflix with maximum brightness for about 2h15. In that time, the battery level only dropped by 8%, which suggests that it would have lasted 25 hours in total. According to the Samsung, A53 lasts up to 2 days of use or 18 hours of video playback.

In the box, a 15W charger that charges the smartphone completely around 2h, an exaggerated time even for more affordable devices, such as the A53. It also supports fast charging technology, which proves to be inefficient, as it only charges 30% of the device's battery in 30 minutes connected to the outlet.

Connectivity
