Recently the billionaire Elon Musk released information about its latest artificial intelligence tool called Grok. This is a new AI that will have the ability to access the X, old Twitter, and will be available exclusively to the platform's premium subscribers. Elon Musk highlighted that the ability to integrate with X represents a “huge advantage over other models” of generative artificial intelligence.

Musk went on to say that when the beta is complete, the AI X will be accessible to all Premium subscribers of X, a service that costs between R$42 and R$60 monthly and offers advantages such as an experience with fewer ads and other benefits. The values can also be annual, costing $ 440 or $ 629, depending on the subscription platform.

Elon Musk is one of the few investors with enough financial resources to compete in the field of artificial intelligence, rivaling companies like itself OpenAI, Google e Meta.

Musk believes that the language models used in tools like Chat GPT are excessively politically correct. Grok, on the other hand, is designed to add a touch of humor to your answers.

São Paulo without power

Approximately 413 thousand homes in the city of São Paulo are still without electricity, resulting from the storm that hit the state last Friday, November 3rd. Winds with speeds exceeding 100 km/h were recorded, resulting in fallen trees and damage to the power grid. The total number of properties affected reaches 500, including at least 40 municipal schools.

The wind gusts recorded during the storm were the most intense ever documented by the São Paulo City Hall Emergency Management Center since records began in 1995. Seven people lost their lives due to rain in the state. These tragedies were recorded in several cities, including São Paulo, Ilhabela, Osasco, Santo André, Suzano and Limeira.

A Enel, the company responsible for energy distribution, estimates that the service throughout the state of São Paulo will be normalized by Tuesday, November 7th. To date, the company has reported that it has managed to reestablish 76% of energy distribution in the state. The company continues to work to resolve power supply interruptions.

Mayor Ricardo Nunes stated that restoration teams have been increased, but that in most scenarios the solution will depend more on the company itself. Enel. The Minister of Justice Flavio Dino He said that the government will demand justifications from ENEL for what happened.

New WhatsApp authenticator via email

O WhatsApp started implementing login authentication via email in the beta version of the application. This allows users to validate their access without relying on SMS. Now that the functionality is available on WhatsApp beta for Android, the official launch of the tool could be in the next few days or weeks.

The creation of the email authentication feature on WhatsApp was revealed in September. At that time, the vehicle BetaInfo discovered this functionality hidden in the beta version of the application. However, due to its early stage of development, it was not yet available for testing.

Users WhatsApp beta now have the option to activate the authentication via email. It is important to highlight that this authentication is a user choice and the standard login validation method via SMS will still be available.

When a user chooses to activate authentication via email, the WhatsApp will automatically perform authentication if the email is the same one used to backup conversations on the Google Drive. However, when signing in from a different device, you will need to enter the code sent via email, rather than logging in with just the email information.

The user's email address will remain confidential and will not be visible to other contacts on WhatsApp. Additionally, WhatsApp will not allow searching for contacts by email address, which will help protect users' privacy and prevent spammers from accessing your phone number.

This new authentication option offers users greater agility when using their account on different devices, being a useful alternative for situations in which cannot receive the authentication code via SMS. Apparently, now we just have to wait for the release, too, for iPhone users.
