What to expect?

Galaxy S25

Starting with the entry-level model, there may be a small increase in size compared to the Galaxy S24: the screen may pass from 6,2″ to 6,36″, the same screen size as 16 iPhone Plus. Rumors suggest that the same aluminum frame found in the standard Galaxy S24 is also present in the Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus, with titanium still being exclusive to the Ultra variant. Possible colors are: Silver Shadow, Mint, Icy Blue and Navy.

The processor chosen for this and other models is the Snapdragon 8 Elite, option for premium category smartphones and tablets for the year 2025. The Galaxy S25 traditional can also have 12 GB of RAM as standard (previously the standard was 8 GB) and offer the famous 3 internal storage options: 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB.

About the camera, the main wide-angle lens is expected to be 50 MP with 2x optical zoom, accompanied by a 12 MP ultrawide and one more lens 10 MP telephoto with 10x optical zoom. The camera front must be 12 MP.

A Samsung announced new camera sensors, the ISOCELL GNJ 50 MP, with the same size as that present in the Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus. The lens promises an anti-refractive layer and pixel isolation, which should improve light capture, reduce reflections, provide more accurate shadows and improve color reproduction.

Speaking of battery, the model is expected to have a 4.000 mAh battery and support for 25W charging, maintaining last year's standard. Still, the battery life compared to the Galaxy S24 traditional processor should be even higher, given that the processor delivers greater energy efficiency without leaving high performance aside. Let's wait and see.

Galaxy S25+

Battery and screen should remain the same (Photo: Reproduction/Android Headlines)

Version with larger screen and battery than the Traditional Galaxy S25, it is expected that the Galaxy S25+ have a 6,7-inch screen, the same size as last year's model. The variable refresh rate of 01 to 120 Hz should also be maintained, with the same going for the peak brightness of 2.600 nits. Another thing that shouldn't change are the colors: the model should still be released in Silver Shadow, Mint, Icy Blue and Navy.

The camera game, as has been happening for some years, should be the same as Galaxy S25 traditional. The big difference between the models is the size of the screen and of course, the battery, so that the model can have the longest possible life.

Speaking of which, rumors suggest that the battery of the Galaxy S25+ will have a capacity of 4.900 mAh, the same as the previous model. It will still be possible to recharge the model at a power of 45W, but it will probably be necessary to purchase the source with a higher capacity, because Samsung sends a 25W power supply inside the box of the Brazilian models.

In terms of memory, more recent leaks mention that this model will also have 12 GB of RAM and internal storage options 128 GB, 256 GB or 512 GB. the processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite will also be seen in this model.

There were rumors that Samsung would introduce a Galaxy S25 Slim, but it seems that it will not arrive in January, opening the way for a second launch with no set date yet. Until then, it would be the thinnest model ever released by the Galaxy S line. See this photo posted by the leaker Evan Blass:

Galaxy s25 ultra

Samsung is preparing a redesign of the Galaxy S25 so that it is less straight at the edges of the screen and sides to provide a better fit in the hand. The model should look even more like the old ones Galaxy Note.

Recent images show this more rectangular aspect and that the model should have an AMOLED LTPO screen, 6,9 inches, resolution of 3.120 x 1.440 pixels and refresh rate of 01-120 Hz, variable depending on the activity performed, which also helps save battery.

In terms of cameras, the new thing about this model is the addition of a new 50MP ultrawide camera, which would allow the delivery of images with wide viewing angles that are even sharper, in addition to possible advances in low-light environments, thanks to greater light capture in pixel grouping mode.

The main camera would still be the 200 MP lens, complemented by two telephoto lenses, one of 10 MP with 3x optical zoom and another of 50 MP with 5x optical zoom. The front camera would also be the same 12 MP. So, we are left with the following rumors:

  • 200 MP (main)
  • 50 MP (ultrawide)
  • 10 MP (3x telephoto)
  • 50 MP (5x telephoto)
  • 12 MP (Front)

The model should have support for video recording in 8K resolution and a great zoom option, especially in videos. This should be further boosted by the processor Snapdragon 8 Elite, also present in this model.

Speaking of RAM, the amount should be even greater in the premium smartphone: as the base models can have 12 GB, the Galaxy S25 Ultra may have 16 GB of RAM. Internal storage should not be affected and is 256 GB, 512 GB or 1 TB.

Another factor that should not change is the battery: Galaxy s25 ultra It should still have the same 5.000 mAh as last year's model and support for wired charging of up to 45W, also requiring the purchase of the source with this capacity to take advantage of faster charging.

After about six months since the launch of the Galaxy Ring, it may be too early for the Samsung launch a new smart ring, but a preview should be shown first Galaxy Unpacked 2025. When we tested the device in 2024, we highlight its great sleep tracking and battery life, but it could still be better.

In 2024, we got our first glimpse of the smart ring Samsung by surprise, at the end of the launch event of the new Galaxy S24. The model also appeared in IFA 2024, but it was only officially announced in July. Reports say the Korean company brought forward the launch of the Galaxy Ring 2, but that could have been months or years.

For this to work, the Korean company can invest in the language model Gauss2, which will be faster and also provide equal or better performance than open source AI models.
