Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time e Star Wars: Squadrons are among the highlights of the week's game releases, coming to PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.

. In addition to these, Super Mario Bros. 35 and three other titles arrive on platforms between this Monday (28) and Sunday (4). In all, six games will be released this week.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time (PS4 and Xbox One – October 2)

The new game is a direct continuation of Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped (1998), which is a favorite among fans of the franchise's original trilogy.

Like its predecessors, Crash 4 is a 3D platformer, alternating between a Crash/Coco's back view and a Sonic-style 2D view. 

In scenarios, the character can destroy the boxes to get Wumpa fruits while avoiding getting close to the ones that say TNT or Nitro. That is, the gameplay is very similar to the original trilogy.

'Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time' brings new type of mask

The main new feature in the game are the Quantum Masks. Each of the four masks brings unique abilities that allow for creative solutions to platform challenges.

The fourth core game in the Crash Bandicoot franchise is developed by Toys for Bob, which is also responsible for remastering the classic trilogy. The distributor of the new game is Activision.

Star Wars: Squadrons (PS4, Xbox One and PC – October 2)

The new game in the Star Wars franchise, developed by EA, features frantic battles between spaceships. In addition to coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC (via Origin, Steam and Epic Games Store), the game will have cross-play between platforms.

Star Wars: Squadrons bets on the nostalgia of classic franchise games, such as Star Wars: Rogue Squadron. Developed by studio Motive, the game puts players in the cockpits of the New Republic and the Galactic Empire. In first person, you need to shoot down enemy ships and fulfill other objectives.

The game offers eight ships (four for the Republic and four for the Empire) and works with a power distribution system. In this system, it is possible to keep everything level or boost the ship's systems (shields, engines or weapons).

Super Mario Bros. 35 (Switch – October 1)

Now even Mario has a battle royale. This one, in this case, supports games with up to 35 players. The goal is basically to be the last Mario standing.

Nintendo announced the game during the Nintendo Direct event held in early September. This edition was special because it paid homage to the first Mario game, released in 1985.

Super Mario Bros. 35 is an exclusive offer for Nintendo Switch Online service members and will be available between October 1, 2020 and March 31, 2021.

Spelunky 2 (PC – September 29)

The new platform game from Mossmouth is a direct sequel to the first, created by Derek Yu, and arrives for PC on Stream. spelunky 2 brings Ana, who is the daughter of the explorer from the first game, and her friends.

The group embarks on a quest to discover the secrets of the immense (and dangerous) underground caverns of the Moon. The game features challenging scenarios, fantastic creatures and hidden treasures.

Additionally, we bring spelunky 2 It has levels that are randomly generated and change layout when your character dies, destructible environments and “online caves” that can be explored by up to four players.

Warsaw (PS4, Switch and Xbox One – starting September 29)

The RPG set in World War II arrives on PS4 this Tuesday (29th), Nintendo Switch on Wednesday (1st) and Xbox One on Thursday (02nd).

The game context, developed by Gaming Company and Pixelated Milk, is the Warsaw Uprising, which took place in Poland, against the Nazis, in 1944. 

Warsaw takes the player to lead the Polish resistance, recruiting and managing fighters. In RPG, kills are permanent and affect stamina.

Ys Origin (Switch – October 1)

The latest of the week's game releases was developed by Nihon Falcom, and comes to Nintendo Switch in partnership with Limited Run Games.

The RPG's story begins with a devastating demonic invasion, which leads twin goddesses to use their magic to take the inhabitants of the legendary Ys to the sky, where they will be safe. 

Meanwhile, demons work to build the Demon Tower and reach the humans' new sanctuary. And the goddesses disappear. As Yunica Tovah, a mighty warrior, or Hugo Fact, a cunning mage, the player must seek out the goddesses in the Demon Tower to protect Ys.

Ys Origin offers three playable characters and three game modes (Story, Time Attack and Arena Mode).
