The most anticipated day for music fans is finally here: starting today, everyone who has a free or premium account on the music streaming platform can access the retrospective of Spotify. Among the new features is the musical journey, which shows how your musical taste has changed as the months of 2024 pass. Understand all the details right now.

How to access Spotify Wrapped 2024?

As in previous years, Spotify's 2024 Retrospective can be accessed as soon as you open the app to Android ou iOS, through a banner on the first screen. If this does not appear for you, search for “Retrospectiva” or “Wrapped” and then click on the first option.

If you want to discover your most listened to artists on your PC, you can also access the Spotify Retrospective official website, you only need to log in to the same account you use on a daily basis. This feature debuted in 2024 and is available again in 2024.

Still talking about the visual experience, now, for the first time, final reports can be shared on TikTok, both in the tab For You (For You), as well as in Stories. Before posting the videos, you can use the editing tool in TikTok and add effects to your videos. Don't forget to try it out!

Sharing is always allowed once you reach the end of your Spotify retrospective, with photos automatically generated by the platform.

New for 2024

During the presentation event, it was highlighted that the retrospective experience has been redesigned from scratch. In addition to the updated design, there were five new features. See each one below.

Your musical journey

You certainly didn't listen to the same songs in 2024, right? Your Musical Journey shows how you moved through different genres and artists during the months of the year that is ending, making it possible to see up to three distinct musical phases.

A playlist with artists related to what you listened to the most in 2024 will automatically be created so you can discover new idols, with the help of Spotify's AI. Don't forget to take the test.

Your Lead Artist Reimagined

In addition to analyzing the number of times you listened to the song throughout the year, it will also be possible to obtain results based on plays made on consecutive days. The platform emphasizes that the percentage of fans will still be available.

Your Music Video Playlist

O Spotify has also started allowing music videos to be viewed on its apps, which has given the platform the opportunity to record this habit as well. At the end of the retrospective, a playlist with the videos that users have watched the most will be available.

Beyond the Top 5

In case you found the top 5 most listened to artists and songs a bit predictable, the platform will be expanding on that. You will be able to see the Top 100 Songs and the Top 20 Artists that you listened to the most in 2024. All can be added to 'Your Library' to be enjoyed as a playlist.

Messages from podcasters

It's pretty common for artists to send videos to their fans who listened to their music the most throughout the year, but this is also being expanded to podcasters. Those who like to spend time on Spotify By listening to podcasts you will receive special videos from your favorite hosts, just like singers do.

As it does every year, the retrospective of Spotify also reveals data on what was listened to the most on the platform. Starting with the most listened to artists, sertanejo is still in the spotlight, but artists from genres such as funk and rap also made their debut. See:

In celebration of this, a most-listened-to artist label on Taylor Swift's profile will be displayed until the end of the year.
