LG launches 03 xboom by will.i.am portable speakers in Brazil

After showing the first details of the products in CES 2025, a LG brought the new speakers xboom by will.i.am for Brazil. In addition to high-quality sound, the company promises that the models will be useful in several occasions, including the possibility of working with the brand's smart TVs. See all the details.

The partnership between LG Electronics e will.i.am to the line XBOOM by will.i.am is a milestone in the audio industry: the collaboration goes far beyond a celebrity endorsement. will.i.am served as “Experience Architect,” directly involved in the development of the speaker’s technology and sound, reflecting the fusion of his artistic vision with LG’s cutting-edge engineering.

Our main goal with these products is to bring our brand closer to Generation Z, through partnerships with influencers and social networks. will.i.am is more than an ambassador: he was involved in the entire development of the product, from scratch to the final launch strategy. His knowledge of the use of artificial intelligence was also used to help us develop the AI features present in the new speakers.

AI sound
O AI sound is a feature that automatically analyzes the frequency of the music, highlighting the melody, rhythm or even the voice. The idea is that consumers have the best possible experience, regardless of what they are listening to, wherever they are. Lucas Queiroz, Master Training in the audio sector at LG, detailed how this work is done by the new xboom by will.i.am:
The new era of AI is only just becoming more prevalent, but LG has been a pioneer in the field for a long time. Using frequencies, the speakers can identify when there is a lot of dialogue, music with a lot of bass, beats and more. The idea is that the customer just presses a button in the app and waits for the appropriate calibration with the music or podcast.

O AI sound delivers up to 9 special modes for the new speakers: 5 party modes, 3 ambient modes and one more voice mode. By detecting the frequency of the transmitted media, the model then selects the most suitable one for the best sound experience.
The idea is that all the work is done by the algorithm, activated via an application for smartphones with Android ou iOS. Control can also be done via LG smart TVs, which can work in conjunction with smart TVs. When this happens, Lucas indicates that Bluetooth speakers should be used as speakers placed behind the user, as space tracking will be done and the new xbooms will be used to deliver audio to the rear.
Functionality resembles technology WOW Orchestra, which allows soundbars and smart TVs to also work as just one product to deliver a better sound experience.
AI Lightning
AI Lighting also uses artificial intelligence to read media and sync with the light bars on the new xboom. In addition to following the beats of music, the sync also works with podcasts, with a light strip that gets brighter depending on what people are saying in the podcast.
The lighting is immersive, so when you're listening to or even watching a podcast, the light on the models is synchronized with the speech. It may not seem like it makes any difference, but when a person has this in their daily lives, they start to pay more attention and importance to the features.

AI Calibration
Already AI Calibration adapts the sound according to the environment where the speaker is located. This avoids the hassle of positioning the devices in specific positions or parts of the place to have a better sound experience. The idea is that the user only needs to activate the AI Calibration in the app and it will be done in a few seconds.
It is a resource that drinks from the source of Dolby Atmos, present in LG's own smart TVs in 2025. Dolby's standard basically also analyzes space and objects to be able to deliver a sound experience according to the people who are in the environment.
LG xboom Bounce by will.i.am
Designed to transform interaction with sound, the speaker Bounce features a robust design with active visual effects and pulsating bass, delivering immersive 360-degree sound. Its innovative proposal aims for a personalized and immersive sound experience, aligning design, connectivity, interactivity and artificial intelligence.
