A Logitech G, a brand that is part of the Logitech Group, announced the next product to reach the Brazilian market: the ultralight gaming mouse PROX Superlight. Constituent of the equipment line PRO, aimed at the professional audience — see the acronym — of electronic sports, the wireless mouse brings technology Lightspeed, which guarantees 2.4 GHz (gigahertz) in connection wireless, amazing response time and many other outstanding features.
According to information from Logitech G itself, the peripheral has already been field tested and played a crucial role in the team's victory. ASTRALIS in the season 12 finale of ESL PRO League, professional competition Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. In addition, it was also tested by the G2 e-Sports team, which won the 2020 League of Legends European Championship. With that in mind, it looks like a great mouse — let's take a closer look at its skills, so to speak.
PRO X Superlight is lightweight, responsive and dynamic
The new Logitech G peripheral has an ergonomic and very refined design, available in black and white colors. Also according to company data, it was designed and developed to reduce the weight of the device and, thus, improve the performance of players. The difference between the PROX Superlight and the PRO Wireless, previous wireless mouse, is precisely this improvement — not for nothing, the super light weighs just under 63 grams, which makes it 25% lighter than its predecessor.
In addition to the powerful battery that, according to the product description, lasts up to 70 hours and can be charged by induction using the Logitech G Powerplay — charger that works while you play — another highlight draws attention: the new sensor HERO 25K CZK, which gives a spectacular 25.600 DPI (dots per inch or dots per inch, in free translation) — an unusual sensitivity.
The sensor HERO 25K CZK uses an intelligent system so that adjustments occur continuously and are based on mouse movements, also reducing power consumption. Even at the highest sensitivity, the sensor manages to be up to 10 times more powerful and efficient than previous Logitech G models, such as its own PRO Wireless.
Another interesting piece of information concerns sustainability. According to the official description of Pro X Superlight, the production process reached the level of no carbon emissions (carbon neutral), thanks to the renewable energy sources used by Logitech G. In addition to the mouse, the package also comes with a wireless receiver, data and charging cable, extension adapter, non-slip adhesive, adhesive preparation cloth, optional PTFE opening and 2-year warranty.
