New Midea factory in Brazil
A Midea confirmed the construction of its third factory in Brazil. Located in Pouso Alegre, Minas Gerais, the factory will produce refrigerators and washing machines for both the Brazilian and international markets. Midea's two other factories are in Canoas, Rio Grande do Sul, and in Manaus, Amazonas. The constructed area was 73 thousand square meters.

In its final phase of completion, the new factory in Minas Gerais will be capable of manufacture 700 thousand refrigerators and 600 thousand washing machines per year, in full operation, with a production capacity approximately 1,3 million products per year.
Furthermore, a new marketing campaign da Midea exclusively national, entitled “My idea of home”, comes alongside the brand’s expansion measure in Brazilian territories. Scheduled to be launched this Sunday (18) on national television, the idea aims to relate Midea products with tech, practicality e simplicity, making your home smarter and more integrated.

No Midea Tour, the company released its new line of Midea Refrigerators and Midea Washing Machines, which will be sold and manufactured exclusively in Brazil, more precisely in the new Pouso Alegre factory. In total, there were two new refrigerators and two new washing machines.
While refrigerators come with a one-year warranty and a ten-year warranty on the compressor, new washing machine lines come with a two-year warranty for buyers and a further ten-year warranty on the engines.
