A Qualcomm Oryon CPU It is a high-performance processor designed with a 64-bit architecture, which provides greater efficiency and processing capacity for demanding tasks, such as those involving new AI technologies.

Composed by 8 nuclei, this CPU is capable of operating at frequencies of up to 4.0 GHz, ensuring robust performance for both tasks Single-core as multithreaded. The design multithreaded, including, allows the processor to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, optimizing energy efficiency and overall system performance.

This hybrid core configuration offers a balance between maximum performance and energy efficiency, adapting to the specific needs of each application. The processor also has a total cache of 30 MB, which further improves quick access to frequently used data, contributing to agile and responsive performance.

Another highlight is the Qualcomm Adreno GPU. Image: Qualcomm

In the visual part, the Qualcomm Adreno GPU is a processing unit included to provide high graphics performance. With specific versions such as the X1P-46-100 and X1P-42-100, this GPU is capable of reaching up to 2.1 TFLOPS and 1.7 TFLOPS (acronym for Teraflops, a measure of processing power), respectively, making it ideal for graphics-intensive tasks such as high-resolution gaming, video rendering, and augmented and virtual reality applications. The Adreno GPU architecture is optimized for energy efficiency, allowing notebooks to enjoy high graphics performance without compromising battery life as much.

NPU

Already in NPU (Neural Processing Unity or Neural Processing Unit), we have here the Qualcomm Hexagon, a crucial component for devices that require advanced artificial intelligence processing — as is the case with Copilot+ PCs.

With a capacity of 45 TOPS (trillions of operations per second), this NPU is designed to handle intensive AI tasks such as speech recognition, image processing, and machine learning quickly and efficiently.

In addition to the main NPU, the Qualcomm Sensing Hub incorporates a Dual Micro NPU, designed for low-power AI tasks. This micro NPU is used to process sensory data and perform continuous low-power tasks such as pattern recognition and voice commands with low battery impact.

Connectivity
