Some disadvantages include not being able to select the video quality, which can be harmful for those with a slower connection. It is also not possible to put subtitles, which is bad for those who are not fluent in English or want to see a European or Eastern film. Another point is that the list only provides movies - no series or animations like in the desktop version of popcorn Time. Also, the service is still hiccuping - sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

It's been over a year since the popcorn Time original debuted.
