Os wireless headphones are increasingly popular in the market. A few years ago, we saw the rise of the earbuds category and now, MeloBuds Pro enters this dispute with a difference: offering Hi-Res audio and noise cancellation at an affordable price. We tested the model for a few days and were surprised by the infallible combination of advanced features and the cost that fits in your pocket.
Design
O HT10 MeloBuds Pro stands out for its design, being both ergonomic and modern. The compact and lightweight format guarantees a comfortable fit, ideal for those looking for prolonged use, for example, without causing any discomfort.
In fact, the design stands out for its simplicity and functionality. It follows the traditional format of headphones (earbud style) with stems, providing a secure and comfortable fit. Whether at the gym, on a trip, or even using it to fall asleep, its fit remains firm.
The finish itself is not the most luxurious, but it delivers what it promises. On the other hand, it is accompanied by a charging case that transforms the HT10 MeloBuds Pro into a slightly more “premium". TO CASE not only protects the device but also provides up to three additional refills, increasing the total playback time — which we’ll discuss below. Overall, the HT10 MeloBuds Pro’s design combines comfort with durability.
Audio Quality
We cannot deny that the audio quality of the HT10 MeloBuds Pro is one of the greatest qualities of headphones with Hi-Res Audio. Equipped with a 12mm bio-diaphragm driver and support for LDAC — an acronym for “Lossless Digital Audio Codec” (in free translation, the Lossless Digital Audio Codec). It offers superior sound fidelity to the competition, transmitting three times more detail compared to other wireless noise-canceling headphones.
The HT10 MeloBuds Pro has an audio of high resolution particularly noticeable in Android smartphone users who activate the LDAC. This LDAC technology, although it offers superior sound quality, comes with a downside: it increases battery consumption and can cause latency depending on the environment you are in, especially in places with an unstable connection signal, or when the battery charge is low, for example.
Additionally, when you enable LDAC, the connection function multipoint between two devices is automatically disabled. In other words, there is only one connection with one device at a time, which can be inconvenient if you need to switch between different devices frequently. Another point to note is that LDAC it is not compatible with iOS devices, limiting its functionality to those using a product from Apple .
In short, in practice, the headset offers a good experience, especially considering the affordable price. The sound is balanced, with satisfactory bass and well-defined vocals — a full plate for pop and rock listeners.
Noise Cancellation/Features
The Hi-Res Audio headset is also equipped with an advanced adaptive noise cancellation, capable of reducing up to 46 decibels of ambient noise. Through sophisticated algorithms (and too complex to be unraveled in this review), the headset offers four ANC modes (Active Noise Cancellation), which automatically adjust to the environment you are in. This provides an immersive experience, whether in a busy outdoor environment, or in quieter, low-noise locations.
The noise canceling technology of the MeloBuds Pro surprises for the price range, again in terms of cost-benefit ratio — highlighting the inclusion of six microphones that work together to neutralize noise. Of course, it does not achieve the perfection of most expensive headphone models (like the ones in our list), but it excels at eliminating low and mid-range sounds. For example, we have little perception of voices and engine vibrations in the background, which is great for urban environments.
Now, with high frequencies, it presents a greater limitation. However, nothing out of the ordinary: it is common in more affordable models and sound performance is solid. Through the app, you can also access more audiophile customizations, such as the 10-band equalizer, allowing fine adjustments according to the user's preference.
The functionality of transparency modes do MeloBuds Pro This is another positive point. There are six adjustable levels, allowing a good perception of your surroundings. This is very useful for those who practice physical activities outside the gym (such as running or cycling), as it makes it easier to hear what is happening around you. Another person's voice may sound a little robotic when you are at the highest levels of this transparency, but this does not compromise usability.
We have already tested another model from the company, the QCY H3 ANC which has spectacular noise cancellation.
Application
The application QCY offers you a personalized experience. It is complete, although it is not the most intuitive in terms of interface — but it is not far from partner systems to input headphones. It offers a wide range of adjustments, from sound equalization until the customization of touch commands. Going back to what we mentioned above, you have fine-tuning of the equalization settings, but you also have firmware updates to optimize the performance of the headset in the long run.
There are features like volume control, game mode and even scheduled shutdown, making it clear how the QCY has tried to focus on a superior experience in the fairly simple app. It also includes in-ear detection, which automatically pauses audio when the earbud is removed (or, perhaps, if it falls out of your ear) and resumes play when it is put back.
Connectivity
with support for Bluetooth 5.3, the HT10 MeloBuds Pro ensures a stable and reliable connection, allowing quick switching between paired devices. Along with this, we have a low latency technology, providing an almost imperceptible audio experience in sync. In other words, you can play games and binge-watch series without any distractions. delay.
FOR Gamers that take responsiveness a little more seriously, in particular, this makes all the difference. Sound quality is noticeably reduced, but latency is prioritized. The headset, in turn, ensures that the audio is in direct sync with what you see on the screen — for high-end games action ou FPS, is essential. With a latency of around 70~80ms, it is not the fastest on the market, but it is above average (again) for the price range.
Battery
The HT10 MeloBuds Pro promises 7 and a half hours of continuous playback per charge, with the charging case providing up to three additional recharges. At the tip of the pencil, that gives 34 hours of use, following the specs from the factory. We agree: in our tests, the headphones delivered a little over 7 hours of battery life with noise cancellation disabled, with the duration dropping to approximately 5 hours with it activated.
Considering the price range and entry category, they are Excellent results. An additional advantage is the CASE, in itself. In just 10 minutes, we had an average of an additional hour of use, something useful for those of you who are always on the go and need a quick charge without having to rely on the charger.
Price and Availability
In promotions, you can find the HT10 MeloBuds Pro by the strip of R$ 200, in the main e-commerces of the country and on sites like AliExpress. Considering the relatively recent launch, we can expect the price to remain stable over the next few months, but remember that it is an entry-level model — so don't expect to pay much less than that, even with the best deals. Black Friday.
Conclusion
In summary, the HT10 MeloBuds Pro is an excellent option for those looking for wireless headphones with advanced features and an affordable price. It stands out for comfortable design, Hi-Res audio with LDAC support, efficient noise cancellation and good battery life. Although it presents the limitations mentioned in this review (such as the lack of compatibility with iOS devices for LDAC and small flaws in high frequencies), the model delivers solid sound performance and great value for money. Ideal for those who want to enjoy premium technologies without paying exorbitant prices.
