O really GT 7 Pro is the newest premium smartphone from realme, a growing brand in Brazil. It is the first in the country to be manufactured with a powerful processor Snapdragon 8 Elite from Qualcomm, it is well designed and has an impressive camera setup. Check out our full review of it:
Design
O really GT 7 Pro It's a pretty big smartphone. This translates into a body that's 162,5mm tall, 76,9mm long, and 8,6mm deep. It weighs 222,8 grams, which isn't that heavy considering it has a massive battery inside.
The model I received for testing is the Mars orange (Mars Orange), but variants Galactic gray e Gray were also announced. The model we received even has textures, reminiscent of the ground of the Earth planet. realme confirmed to us that, for now, only Mars Orange and Gray will be launched in Brazil. See the three variants below:
The back is made of glass, with technology panda glass. In it, we have the cameras in a familiar format, reminiscent of stove burners, but with a charm. On the sides, we have aluminum and only the 3 buttons, located on the right side of the smartphone. At the bottom, we have a USB-C port and the chip drawer, as well as a microphone. At the top, there is only another microphone for audio capture.
O really GT 7 Pro brings superior protection IP69 against water and dust. Above its competitors, with IP68, this protection guarantees the survival of the device at up to 2 meters for up to 1 and a half hours.
In the box, a charger SuperVOOC from 120W is guaranteed, in addition to already coming with a film applied. Since I received an early version, I can't say if it will have a cover in the box, but know that in the previous model, this happened, so it would be a setback if it didn't happen here.
Fabric
With a display of 6,78", really GT 7 Pro It features a panel that uses 92,8% of the front of the device. It has almost no edges, leaving space only for the droplet where the front camera is located.
The type of screen chosen here was the LTPO AMOLED in an exclusive partnership with Samsung, call of RealWorld Eco. This screen ensures 1 billion colors, variable refresh rate up to 120Hz, HDR10 + e Dolby Vision for viewing more vivid, bright and deep colors on streaming services, 1000 nits of brightness in everyday use and can reach incredible 6500 nits at its peak.
Glass has been included to protect this screen. Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, ensuring even greater resistance to scratches and accidents.
Thanks to the technologies used here, the visual experience was impeccable. The colors are fantastic, the blacks are deep thanks to AMOLED and thanks to the powerful brightness, you can use the smartphone in any situation and still see every detail without having to look for a shadow.
He brings 1,5K resolution (1264 x 2780 pixels), making everything even more beautiful. Personally, I never liked leaving smartphones with resolutions higher than 1080p because it is an unnecessary waste of energy. But, considering the energy competence of this little guy here, it is completely doable.
To watch movies, series, videos on YouTube and for games, I also had a sensational experience. Unlike really GT 6 that I tested previously, here the design does not work with a curved screen, improving the grip and even making it easier to play.
Processor
The big cherry on the cake really GT 7 Pro, being the first smartphone in Brazil to bring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite. This processor stands out for having a lithography of just 3 nanometers, the most advanced at the moment, with Orion CPUs with 44% more performance, GPU Adreno 830 with 40% more graphics performance and 40% power savings, NPU for AI tasks 45% faster, new ISP camera signal processing and support for connections Wi-Fi 7 e Bluetooth 6. Learn more about Snapdragon 8 Elite here.
If I said that the smartphone runs slowly, it would be a surprise, right? With so much power at hand, that's impossible. The combination of a great processor with a good system, 12 or 16GB of RAM and high-speed storage, makes this one of the fastest Android smartphones I've ever tested.
I was amazed at how quickly the device turned on. I put it to update and when it was ready to install it, it restarted instantly, so it didn't even seem like an update. When it comes to using everyday apps, such as social networks, taking photos and recording videos, I also have nothing but praise. You have to really push the envelope in this regard to find problems.
The experience with games, in fact, was very interesting. This time, I chose to bring the Fortnite for the game and the result was quite impressive. With all the graphics options at maximum, including frame rates at 120, the game maintained the same level of quality throughout the match and without sudden drops in FPS. The smartphone got quite hot, that's true, but not to the point of being unusable.
Another chosen for the test was Genshin impact. Although it did not come with high graphics options and high frame rate enabled by default, I forced these settings and even so everything flowed normally, again discounting the smartphone's temperature.
As expected, we have a very powerful smartphone for those who enjoy mobile gaming, capable of delivering incredible performance even in the most demanding games. Having tested a previous version of the device, it came with software full of bugs. After an update of almost 10GBs, it was perfect.
Insights
I tested the really GT 7 Pro in three benchmark applications and then you can check the result in each of them. Remember that this type of test is just a metric to give us an idea of your power and does not reflect 100% of your performance.
AnTuTu Benchmark
Geekbench 6
O Geekbench 6 It brings multicore, single-core and GPU tests. Below you can check each of them:
3DMark
I tested the really GT 7 Pro com Wild Life Extreme and below you can see the results:
System and interface
O really GT 7 Pro came from the factory with the Android 15 under the manufacturer's interface, the really UI 6.0, a software that I have already demonstrated my complaints about in past reviews of the brand, but which fortunately has received small improvements that make it more attractive here.
It has always been very fluid and I have never complained about that. I just found it a bit confusing because everything was gray, regardless of the type of notification, and it was not well separated. It is still not perfect in the new version, but it has improved a lot, allowing you to differentiate notifications from each other more clearly.
These changes had already been made in the Android 14 through updates, but they have been optimized here. However, in terms of customization, everything is new. When choosing an image for the lock screen photo or home screen wallpaper, we can add depth effects, change fonts, colors, add widgets and even add effects.
If everything was gray before, they have now opted for an “iOS” view of the system, with a transparent blur on almost everything possible. Be it the notification screen, folders, everything possible. Some may say it is a copy, which is true, but what is the problem in taking something cool and using it in your own system?
The quick access to the media player in the notification bar is quite nice, but I still find it quite annoying how it works on the lock screen. There's no way to expand it, forcing you to open the app to change quick settings that other manufacturers already leave right there on the lock screen.
Even with these minor flaws, it is a very good and fluid system, especially when it comes to managing apps. It is all very easy to use and learn. realme does not highlight how many years of updates it will have, but considering that the Samsung It has been in its top of the line for 7 years now, we expect at least 4 years in this model.
realme AI
The bet on artificial intelligence in really GT 7 Pro is a little different from previous models. The conventional format of using AI in the gallery remains the same, allowing you to add or delete elements of the image, as well as significantly increase the sharpness, if you so desire. Check out some of the results:

The novelty in question is for the AI Studio, an app dedicated to using Artificial Intelligence tools. It works like a marketplace for AI effects. Here, you earn daily virtual coins when you check in, and with them you can test and use the various AI options provided in the store. By default, with each new smartphone realme that you purchase, you will immediately receive 5000 coins. It is not clear, however, whether they are cumulative between devices.
Regarding the store content, I found it interesting and loved the results, but I could see that it will still take a while for it to become really cool in terms of variety. There are festive, futuristic, cartoonish options and even things aimed at a more serious and professional atmosphere. It's fun to test and honestly, it was the only AI that managed to understand my face decently, without distorting it and imagining me as someone else. I found it very faithful.

Another interesting element is that it is able to identify sketches in photos and transform these sketches into more elaborate designs. This is not necessarily a new feature on the market, but it is something cool. I have already expressed how much I dislike AI resources for “art” in other reviews and I maintain my opinion, although the use here is more interesting than in the other proposals. Check out the result below:
Memory and Storage
O really GT 7 Pro, has two internal storage options (256GB or 512GB), with technology UFS 4.0, ensuring high speed in data management. As for RAM memory, it is sold in options of 12GB or 16GB physical, and can be expanded to a further 12GB with the function RAM expansion. That is, Up to 28GB of Dynamic RAM.
This combination makes it a super agile smartphone, perfect for recording videos, taking photos, installing heavy games, and it doesn't crash at all, even when using its hardware more heavily. Even when hot, it maintains the same performance as always, which is great.
The model does not have a MicroSD card slot, but let's agree that 512 GB of internal storage is more than enough for you to take photos, videos and install applications before needing to clean up the phone's memory.
Connectivity
O really GT 7 Pro brings a combo of great technologies in its body. For wireless networks, it brings the Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be, also known simply as Wi-Fi 7, guaranteeing incredible connection speeds, as long as you have routers compatible with the technology. It is the first smartphone in Brazil with this technology (learn more about Wi-Fi 7 here).
To connect your devices like wireless headphones, it works with the Bluetooth 5.4, latest version available (although the Bluetooth 6.0 has finally been released in 2024) and which will also ensure more stability in operation and wireless data transfer.
There is also a sensor NFC for payments, with a special detail: it can be used in 360º, that is, it works on both the back and the front of the smartphone, a feature already seen in other devices of the brand.
Unfortunately there is no headphone port here, leaving the only physical port on the device for the USB-C at the bottom, which is used to charge the device, as well as transfer data and also headphones, if you have a compatible dongle.
A rarity: you can still use it as a universal TV remote, thanks to the infrared sensor present in GT 7.
And for unlocking, a biometric sensor under the screen, with ultrasonic technology, for faster registration and daily use.
Audio
The body of the really GT 7 Pro It has two speakers, creating stereo audio. The sound quality of these speakers is very good and fulfills the role of a high-end smartphone. realme does not bring any sound technology like Dolby Atmos around here, but has its own means of improving them.
O really GT 7 Pro It has two speakers for stereo audio. The sound quality is very good and fulfills the role of a high-end smartphone, with support for audio Hi-Res (with 96 kHz or 192 kHz sampling rate and 24-bit color depth) and OReality Audio, a realme feature that uses artificial intelligence to adapt sound quality to the type of content. However, there is no support for Dolby Atmos, the most common industry standard.
The top of the line realme It manages to deliver a very consistent experience in terms of sound, perfect for watching movies, series, gaming sessions, or just putting on some good background music, as long as there is not too much external noise.
Battery and charging
O really GT 7 Pro brings the biggest battery I've ever seen in a smartphone, with incredible 6500 mAh. However, with a giant screen and all the technologies involved, I didn't feel that this increase in battery had such a big impact. It does deliver great results, but it doesn't differ that much from the previous model, for example, which had 1000 mAh less.
In any case, the power management when we are not using the smartphone is fantastic! It uses almost no power, even if it is on standby for hours and hours. I mention this because I have tested smartphones that use unnecessary energy while they are “sleeping”.
In a day with conventional use of social networks and music on Bluetooth headphones, you can easily reach 2 days of use. However, with heavier use with the camera, whether recording or taking photos and playing games, you can expect that at the end of the day the battery will need to be charged.
The advantage here is that it comes with a great 120W SuperVOOC charger, that is, even with this huge battery, it reaches 100% in around 30 minutes.
Cameras
O reame GT 7 Pro has an impressive set of cameras. On the back, there are 3 main lenses:
- 50MP periscope portrait telephoto, with IMX 882 sensor, also from Sony, allowing a zoom of up to 3x and f/2.7 aperture;
- Wide 50MP with Sony IMX 609 sensor, with f/1.8 aperture;
- 8MP Ultra-Wide, with an IMX 355 sensor from Sony and, in addition to the 112º field of view, it has an aperture of f/2.2;
In practice, these 3 lenses deliver very impressive results and will rarely require you to mess around with extra settings. Just point and take the photo.
The set is also completed by the front camera, for selfies and video calls:
- Sony 16MP Selfie Camera, with Field of View (FOV): 82,3° and aperture: f/2,45;
Given the specifications, let's move on to practical tests:
Wide Camera
The main camera of the really GT 7 Pro It can take excellent photos in a variety of ways. In situations with good lighting, there was no need to select the subject, I just had to open the app and take the photo, leaving certain adjustments to realme's incredible post-processing. Check out some photos:
Now look at other situations, such as night photos, portrait mode and others:
A unique feature of this smartphone is that it has the feature Underwater. that is, it allows you to take photos underwater. In this mode, all buttons are limited and the physical buttons gain exclusive functions: the volume + button controls the zoom, the – button switches between the front or rear camera and the power button is used to exit the mode, when held for 3 seconds.
The only thing I missed was a physical way to take photos, since the touchscreen doesn't respond as well as it should underwater, making it difficult to take photos. Also, be warned that this feature is designed for up to 2 meters deep, for up to 30 minutes per session. If you break these rules and something happens to the device, you'll be out of warranty. Check out some photos I managed to take in the pool:
Telephoto
The telephoto lens allows us to take photos from a greater distance without losing quality. It has a differential realme here involving artificial intelligence when zooming in. For example, when trying to capture images of the Moon, the system uses AI to do even better post-processing. Check out some of the photos I managed to take:
The telephoto lens provides a zoom of up to 3x without losing any quality, but we also have the possibility of up to 120x digital zoom which, with the help of AI, can surprise with the results. Here are some images of the Moon, using these larger zooms:
UltraWide
Finally, we have the Ultrawide lens, to capture more people, more things or simply create a different effect in the image. I wasn't able to test this one so thoroughly, but here are some photos:
Regarding videos, the realme GT 7 Pro offers quality up to 8K for cinematic quality. In lower qualities, such as 4K, it is possible to maintain 60fps and ensure a sensational video experience with professional stability thanks to Optical Image Stability (OIS).
Picture
Front camera (Selfies)
The front camera isn't the best selfie camera I've ever tested, but it easily passes the quality test. Something strange I noticed is that in videos, the maximum quality available is 1080p at 60 frames per second. For a top-of-the-line phone with no limitations, this is quite strange and I imagine it should be fixed with updates. Check out the photos:
Price and availability
O really GT 7 Pro It is scheduled to be launched in Brazil in 2025, with no specific date yet. The suggested price for the smartphone has not been revealed yet, so we can only wait and see.
Internationally, it is sold in Ali Express for R$5.726,00 in the 256GB version. But it is worth remembering that, with taxes applied, this value rises to R$ 11.264,48.
Conclusion
O really GT 7 Pro It's a great smartphone, with a fantastic processor, great cameras and a good battery life. It was a great experience testing it, but we have a problem here: we don't have a release date, much less how much it will cost.
This does not take away from the merit of the quality of the GT 7, nor does it diminish its strength, but it is difficult to recommend it if the company does not yet sell it in Brazil. Importing it at more than 11 thousand reais may not be worth it and is an option for few.
It is therefore recommended to wait for the position of Reame Brazil regarding the local launch. And, if it occurs after January, it will be a strong competitor for the Galaxy s25 ultra from Samsung, which is due to arrive on January 22 (follow the coverage). In any case, the company is to be congratulated for this new flagship.
