In December of 2022, the Logitech announced a line of products designed for work home office e hybrid, with compact peripherals with a minimalist design, designed to be carried in a bag and combined with comfortable environments, such as offices.
Among these launches is the wireless mouse Logitech Pebble M350. Small, modern and silent, this mouse came to bring more comfort to the user's daily life. To learn more about this peripheral, check out our full Review!
Design in the palm of your hand
Weighing approximately 100 grams and measuring just over 10 centimeters, the Logitech Pebble M350 It is a wireless mouse that works via Bluetooth or USB receiver. All plastic, it comes with a pre-installed AA alkaline battery and a Nano Receiver — a USB device that lets you wirelessly connect devices to your computer.
The mouse is plain and simple in appearance, with the Logitech printed below the three main buttons, left, right, and scroll. We received the Sand color, but the product can be found in the options Lavender, Blueberry, Graphite, Matte White and Rosé.
Pulling the magnetized plastic piece from the top, we have access to the internal part of the mouse. At the bottom we have the power switch, the Bluetooth signal button and the mouse sensor.
Technical specifications
The optical tracking sensor of the Logitech Pebble M350 it has high precision and 1.000 DPI (dots per linear inch, used to measure mouse sensitivity), mechanical scrolling system and is ambidextrous (both left and right handed). In addition, the brand promises 18 months of battery life and peripheral operation up to 10 meters away from the workplace.
Opinion
Were two weeks using the mouse for work, day to day and other activities: at first, the footprint of the Pebble M350 looks a little strange, mainly due to the size of the accessory and its light weight. It gives a feeling of emptiness for those, like me, who are used to bigger and more robust mice. It's not uncomfortable, it's just a matter of habit that, over time, becomes indifferent. It is worth noting that the mouse I use for work has weights, so I felt a huge difference at first.
O Pebble M350 not only is it discreet in appearance, it is also very quiet and the buttons are 'soft' to press. Another aspect that made me feel strange, because sometimes I thought I had pressed the right mouse button, for example, and, in fact, I hadn't.
This detail can be very useful for those who prefer or need more discreet and less noisy peripherals on a daily basis, or simply like a lighter footprint. But as I work with video, I prefer sturdier accessories that give me more precision in tasks and, despite being a very sensitive mouse, the Pebble M350 it didn't give me that feeling.
Bluetooth and features
My computer doesn't have Bluetooth connectivity, so it was great to discover the Nano Receiver in the box, which allows the connection to happen on devices like mine. But it is exclusive to the wireless mouse, there is no point in trying to use it to connect another peripheral. Once connected, the technology works great, with no signal fluctuations.
As for distance, I tested the mouse at about 3 feet from the desk and once again there were no connection issues.
Bluetooth on smartphone
Another feature of the Logitech Pebble M350 mouse is the Bluetooth connection, which also works with Android and iOS smartphones; I tested it on my Android and it was the first time using a mouse on my cell phone.
The mouse works perfectly with the cell phone, and simulates the touch at times when it is necessary to drag the screen or an icon, like when we are going to reply directly to a message in a WhatsApp group, for example. As for sensitivity, the cursor is slower and I haven't found ways to change that.
Energy
Logitech promises 18 months of battery life, but as I spent little time with the wireless mouse, it was not possible to verify the information, what I can say is that there were no problems with the AA battery that is already installed, or even moments of discharging and disconnect.
Conclusion
The Pebble M350 is a perfect mouse for anyone who needs practicality in everyday life, easy to carry around if necessary and able to fit in a pocket. It's also great for those who enjoy more minimalist designs and don't need a device full of features and buttons.
In my case, I particularly prefer robust mice that allow me to be more precise in my work tasks, I also like to feel the weight of the peripheral and adapt it to my needs. With the Pebble M350 this is not possible, making it a much more practical mouse than anything else.
If that's what you need, that is, practicality, you certainly won't regret choosing to buy this small peripheral.
