Samsung launches Galaxy Note 10 Lite and S10 Lite in Brazil; check the prices

After bringing to Brazil the new generation of A Galaxy (A51 and A71), Samsung is launching this Wednesday (5/02) the new Galaxy Note 10 Lite e S10 Lite. Both debut as more affordable options from the top of the line and stand out for their large screen, triple camera, 4.500mAh battery and ultra-fast charging.

The two devices already bring the new design adopted by Samsung this year, with a screen focus, no borders. O 10 Lite notes debut with a differential in productivity features. already the S10 Lite stands out for the cameras.

Galaxy S10 Lite

O S10 Lite has a clear difference compared to the Galaxy S10 introduced almost a year ago. The camera is the main highlight of the Galaxy S10 Lite. There are three lenses grouped under each other, the main 48 MP, a 12 MP wide-angle and a 5 MP macro, which allows you to record very closely, focusing on details. 

The ultra-wide (12 MP) guarantees a field of view of 123 degrees, that is, similar to the human eye. As a result, this lens is even better than other models launched last year with 48 megapixels, for example. It also stands out for its increased stability for action photos and videos. The front camera, in turn, is 32 MP.

Famous in other devices of the brand, the Hyperlapse, Live Focus, Macro and Super Slow Motion modes are present in the Small. There is also OIS stabilization.

In specifications, the Galaxy S10 Lite received a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855. The chipset guarantees energy savings that are up to four times greater than the previous ones, in addition to computational photography, state-of-the-art video recording and computer vision (CV) capabilities. 

O Snapdragon 855 It has octa-core with a maximum clock of 2,7GHz. There are options of 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal memory with the possibility of expanding up to 1TB via memory card. The model runs Android 10. 

Screen and battery details are similar to the Galaxy Note 10 Lite. The display is 6,7 inches and 20:9 aspect ratio, being larger than other devices on the market. O S10 Lite keeps the Super AMOLED and Full HD+ resolution, the same as the Galaxy S10e.

Unlocking the device can be done directly on the screen using a fingerprint. It is worth considering that the Galaxy S10 Lite it's a big device. It measures 7,56 x 16,25 x 0,81 cm and weighs 186 grams. Therefore, moving with just one hand can generate discomfort. 

The 4.500 mAh battery is another strong point of the smartphone. With it, the user can move the cell phone without the need to hunt for an outlet for a few hours. It also allows for fast charging thanks to USB-C. Speaking of inputs, it is worth mentioning that it does not have a headphone jack.

Galaxy Note 10 Lite

O Galaxy Note 10 Lite arrives with the proposal to serve the public that cannot afford a powerful device. So it comes with the pen S Pen, which is present in high-end cell phones like the Galaxy Note 10 +. It still has its own processor and, unlike the S10 Lite, the new Notes 10 It has a headphone jack. no more, 10 Lite notes e S10 Lite are very similar, even in some configurations.

Starting with the cameras, there are three lenses in the back with an “L” arrangement and a flash. All of them have 12 megapixels and the big difference is precisely in the functions of each lens: the ultra-wide is the main one with f/2.2 aperture; the secondary is wide-angle at f/1.7; and the third is a telephoto lens with an f/2.4 aperture. The 32 MP front is centered at the top and right on the screen. 

The processor is South Korean's own: the Exynos 9810 – octa-core with a maximum clock of 2.7GHz. O Galaxy Note 10 Lite offers options of 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage (with expansion to 1TB with memory card), that is, the same settings as S10 Lite. These are lower numbers compared to the Note 10 traditional, but acceptable by the proposal. 

To improve usability and productivity, the Samsung introduced the pen S Pen, however, it ended up being limited in the 10 Lite notes. She brings support Bluetooth Low Energy, but it owes support to gestures. Despite this, there is a text export feature, which allows the user to transfer handwritten notes for quick sharing. THE S Pen charges in 40 seconds only.

The display is Super AMOLED 6,7-inch Full HD+ and smartphone unlocking is also done by fingerprints on the screen. The battery follows like the brother's S10 Lite (4.500mAh).

Release date and price

Both were made official a few days before the Consumer Electronics Show 2020 (CES). Later, the devices were presented during the biggest technology event in the world. As we have seen here, they bring the same specifications. The dissimilarities are in the processor and the lens/camera assembly. 

In Brazil, Galaxy S10 Lite (R$ 3.999) comes in three colors: white, black and blue. O Galaxy Note 10 Lite (R$ 3.799) hits stores in the following colors: Aura Glow, black and red. Both arrive with a slightly more affordable price compared to the tops of the line. Samsung S10 (R$ 5.499) and Notes 10 (BRL 5.299). They hit stores starting next week.
