Design
Although they look identical on first impression, the Galaxy s22 ultra and his successor Galaxy s23 ultra have some notable differences. On the back, where the triple camera set is attached, for example, on the S23 we have a slightly larger camera, due to its 200 MP resolution — but still, difficult to distinguish, even trying to look for similarities.

One of the changes that was well seen in the S23 Ultra is the screen being a little less curved, making drawings and writing with the S Pen become more comfortable and natural even when they are made closer to the edge. Another improvement is for the front and back of the new device, which has the technology Gorilla Glass Victories 2, offering greater resistance to falls and scratches.
Samsung's new premium smartphone is also a little narrower than the previous one, but a little heavier. Regarding the available colors we have a change from Phantom Black (Black), Phantom White (White), Burgundy (Red) and Green from the S22 Ultra to Phantom Black (Black), Creams, Green e Lavender of the S23 Ultra.
Fabric

Both S22 Ultra and S23 Ultra screens have a 6,8-inch AMOLED display with QuadHD+ resolution, in addition to a resolution rate ranging from 1 to 120 Hz, and it is still possible to achieve the maximum number of nits: 1.750. The new smartphone has features that improve comfort when viewing content, being able to adjust color tones and contrasts, reducing the impact of light on the user's views. The tool vision booster now has one more level of light — 3 in total — when exposed to sunlight.
Cameras
A point that catches most consumers is the camera and the difference between the Galaxy S22 Ultra and Galaxy S23 Ultra cameras is quite large. We have to start talking about the highlight of the edition, the main camera that has 200 MP resolution. The adaptive pixel sensor is capable of combining 16 pixels into one larger pixel, thus offering more detailed and brighter photos, especially in low light places. By activating the 200 MP Mode, it will also be possible to crop the photos and reframe them.
The new Galaxy S23 Ultra also comes with a front camera of 12 SM, which may sound like a downgrade when compared to the 40 MP resolution of the Galaxy S22 Ultra's front camera. However, Samsung promises that the camera of the new smartphone will take better pictures due to the Artificial Intelligence that the device supports, including in Night Mode.

Following the similarities with the 2022 premium model, the Galaxy S23 Ultra also features a dual 10 MP telephoto camera that has 3 and 10 times optical zoom, in addition to a 30 times digital zoom. We cannot fail to mention the 100 times Spatial Zoom. Another similarity is the nightography, a feature on the Galaxy S22 Ultra that optimizes low-light photos while reducing possible tearing, improving details and color tones.
It is still possible to capture in the format RAW but with multiple exposures and also using the settings of Astrophoto to capture image of stars. When it comes to videos, the Galaxy S23 Ultra also gains some improvements, such as the possibility of making 8K videos at 30 FPS — against the 24 FPS of the Galaxy S22 Ultra. It's also possible to achieve twice the angles of the optical image stabilizer for even steadier footage.

Despite this, the chip included in the Galaxy S22 Ultra, the Snapdragon 8 Gen1, is still a very powerful option, ranging from 8 GB to 12 GB of RAM memory. The Galaxy S23 Ultra has the same variations, but changes the storage of the entry model: from 128 GB to 256 GB. Both devices have a 1TB storage model — but it is harder find for Galaxy S22 Ultra. It is worth remembering that the Galaxy S23 Ultra comes with the Android 13, since the S22 Ultra comes with Android 12, but Samsung intends to make the next models arrive with the new operating system.
Battery
