No more waiting! A Universal Pictures released, this Wednesday (15), a new poster and the full trailer for Wicked, adaptation of the famous Broadway musical inspired by the universe of The Wizard of Oz that hits Brazilian cinemas in November this year telling the story of a beautiful and unlikely friendship in the Land of Oz.
Wicked tells the story of The Wizard of Oz from the perspective of Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West, who ends up proving to be less cruel than the fame boasted by her evil nickname. In the plot, Elphaba (Cynthia) is a young woman who has not yet discovered her true power and is misunderstood because of her unusual green skin. Glinda (Ariana), in turn, is popular, ambitious, born with a silver spoon and, in addition to just wanting to guarantee her privileges, she still doesn't know her true soul.

The two meet as students at Shiz University, in the fantastic Land of Oz, and become great friends, an unlikely but profound affinity. After an encounter with The Wonderful Wizard of Oz (Jeff Goldblum), their friendship reaches a crossroads, and their lives take very different paths.
Glinda's relentless desire for popularity leads her to be seduced by power, while Elphaba's firm determination to maintain her authenticity and loyalty to others results in unexpected consequences, leading them to fulfill their destinies as the Good Witch of the South and the Witch Bad of the West.
