Windows 10 May 2019: How to update your computer

A Microsoft released yet another major new update to the Windows 10. build 1903 is the first biannual update, named Windows 10 May 2019. The new version of the operating system has aesthetic improvements and increments to increase productivity. Learn how to update your computer now!

10 Windows Update

Since the 21st, Microsoft has been slowly releasing the update. Priority is for computers with newer parts. It is a method of Microsoft handle any upgrade issues. To know if the Microsoft qualifies your PC as one of the first to be guaranteed the update, open Windows Update.

Step 1: Open Windows settings and click Update and Security;

Step 2: In Windows Update, click the button Check for updates;

Step 3: If Update for Windows 10, version 1903 appears, click “Download and install now”.

Step 4: After the download is complete, restart your computer for the installation to take place. The process takes about an hour.

If Windows Update did not present the update, there is a way to force the update. The method is easy and safe, as Microsoft also checks hardware compatibility for the update.

Step 1: Download the Windows 10 Upgrade Assistant;

Step 2: Open the program. Soon it will be checked for update to the next version of Windows 10, 1903. Click on update nowa;

Step 3: Your computer's compatibility will be analyzed. If everything is ok, click Advance;

Step 4: Wait for the update to download;

Step 5: Within half an hour, your computer will restart. Save all work in progress to start the installation process;
